Without TV, it is hard to know when one day ends and another begins.
So, with Planet Earth taking a breather, that leaves the indoors and, for you fellow, pale, book-and-TV geeks, you know the best time to stay indoors anyhoo, is Summertime: no sunscreen, lots of a/c and plenty of time to watch all your fave TV and film nom noms.
Now, be savvy, kittens. Nobody at Jennypop is advocating you train for the gold in the Couch Potato Olympics ... for Godzilla's sake, do summat whilst you're watching the telly. Work your brain and/or bod.
Knit, sketch, do yoga, work on language lessons, journal, practice the splits, write some music, learn to write music, read, study your fave artist or museum, design meal plans, concoct a craft cocktail, plot out your next vacation, practice fencing, make up a secret lnguage with your bestie. Do something, but it never hurts to have our real BFF, TV, on in the background.
So, grab whatever you need, hobby-wise, make a cool drink, put on your old puka shells and get comfy. Pour Moi? Living at the beach, my year-round daily uniform is perfect for Summer chillin': think Rebecca De Mornay, bikini top and sarong, in Lords of Dogtown. Hey, guurrlll.
Now, let JennyPop's TV and film recs bring you some sweet and silly, beachy and funky, easy and breezy vibes during this, the weirdest summer since 1587, when a group of brave/bonkers Englishmen left London, sailed to North Carolina's Roanoke Island, settled it, then disappeared forever.
Moral of the story? The Roanoke settlers didn't have TV. See what happened? Turn on your TV, kittens.
